Tata Motors has expanded the Altroz hatchback lineup with two variants, the XM and XM(S), priced at Rs 6.90 lakh, and Rs 7.35 lakh, respectively, both prices ex-showroom. Tata Motors has slated the duo in between the Altroz XE and XM+ variants.
The manufacturer has equipped these variants with an array of new features, including an electric sunroof, which makes Altroz the most-affordable premium hatchback to sport a sunroof.

The all-new variants will only be available in the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that belts out 88.2 hp and 115 Nm of peak torque. The company has restricted the transmission options to a five-speed manual.
Tata Altroz XM, XM(S): Features
In terms of features, the XM trim features steering-mounted controls, driver seat height adjuster, electrically operated ORVMs, R16 full wheel cover, and an enhanced dash with more premium feel. The XM(S) will additionally boast of an electric sunroof.
Furthermore, the company is offering a bigger, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system as an optional accessory.

Moreover, across all variants of the Altroz, the manual petrol trims will now include standard features such as all four power windows and remote keyless entry.
The Tata Altroz is one of the safest hatchbacks in the country, having secured a 5-star rating in the Global NCAP tests. The car bagged 16.13/17 points in the adult occupant safety tests and 29/49 in the child occupant safety, resulting in a perfect 5-star rating.
