India Startup Festival In Bengaluru From August 10-12, Over 10,000 Global Startups To Attend

New Delhi: The India Startup Festival (ISF) will take place next month in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru, which will give startup founders an opportunity to connect with peers and investors. The event will be organized by the Indian Startup Foundation, a not-for-profit organization supporting the growth and development of the Indian startup ecosystem, from August 10 to 12 at Muddanahalli.

The theme of ISF 2023 is ‘Innovation at the Bottom of the Pyramid.’

During the event, discussions will be held on vital areas such as Rural Healthcare Education, Fintech, Rural Innovation, Agritech, and food tech.

More than 10,000 startups from India, the UK, Japan, and many other countries will take part in the festival. About 500 investors are also expected to be present.

“With a vision to reimagine the start-up landscape in India, we are committed to empowering entrepreneurs and fostering a startup community that will enable them to unleash their full potential. This festival will be a vibrant hub of entrepreneurial energy and innovation,” JA Chowdary, chairperson and convenor of the ISF, said in a statement.

According to the statement, the startup jury will choose the top 100 startups as finalists and will grant them a chance to pitch on the grand stage.

The top 10 startups will be awarded with cash prizes and will be mentored by their sector-specific industry leaders. 

The startups were shortlisted from the Investor Connect Workshops organized in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, the US, and the UK, it said.

“For India to flourish, the fruits of the Startup ecosystem must reach rural India, ushering in new opportunities and employment prospects. This is the core theme of ISF 2023 to Empower ‘Innovation at the bottom of the Pyramid’ to empower the grassroots that will inevitably lead to exponential growth,” Chowdary said.

The event will be attended by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan, Founder of Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, Priyank Kharge, Minister of Information Technology and Bio Technology, Karnataka, N. S. Boseraju, Minister of Minor Irrigation, Science & Technology Department of Karnataka, among others.
