Hyundai Sales July 2023: Hyundai domestic sales remain flat in July 2023 at 50,701 units, exports grow 19.8 percent - Times of India

Hyundai Motor India has revealed its sales figures for July 2023. The South Korean manufacturer sold 50,701 cars in the domestic market during the month, witnessing a marginal 0.4 percent as against the 50,500 units scored in the corresponding month last year.

In terms of exports, the OEM registered a significant 19.8% growth, clocking 16,000 units as compared to 13,351 units sold in July 2022. Overall, the total sales stood at 66,701 units, up by 4,46 percent, in comparison to 63,851 units sold in the same period last year.
At present, HMIL boasts of a strong model line-up consisting of 13 car models across segments. It sells Grand i10 NIOS, i20, i20 N-Line, Aura, Exter, Venue, Venue N-Line, Verna, Creta, Alcazar, Tucson, KONA Electric and all-electric SUV Ioniq 5 on our shores.

Hyundai recently debuted the Exter micro SUV in India at a starting price of Rs 6 lakh, ex-showroom. The prices go up to Rs 10 lakh, ex-showroom, for the top-spec variant. The Exter gets a range of features, including segment-first features such as sunroof and dashcam. It gets both petrol and CNG engine options.
The all-new Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre NA, four-cylinder, petrol engine that generates 83 hp and 114 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to either a 5-speed MT or 5-speed AT.
Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “With the semiconductor supply issues more or less behind us, we are all geared up for the upcoming festive season in India starting with Onam in Kerala.”
